Previous Init-Math Programmes

Initiation into Mathematics (in short, init-math) is a programme organized at Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad. It is meant for second and final year students of B.Sc. in studying in institutions in Andhra Pradesh. This one week long workshop is an initiative of the MTTS Progarmme. It will follow the methodology of MTTS. Its aim is to intiate students into various aspects such as learning mathematics, thinking mathematics, wrting mathematics on their own and the problem solving skills. The first init-math was conducted in 2010 July at Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Hyderabad.
