Mini-MTTS Programmes

The mtts programme is one of the most popular and significant summer training programme in the country. We receive a large number of applications forms from all parts of the country and the selections is extremely difficult. But due to limitation of resources and seats, a large number of good students do not get a chance to participate in MTTS Programme. In order to provide opportunities to large number of students at regional levels, the director, in a meeting held during International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM) at Hyderabad in August 2010, made an appeal to mathematics community to organize such mini camps in line with MTTS programme. We are happy to inform that many people have taken initiatives to organize one week mini-mtts progarmme at regional levels. Following are some these programmes:

1. Initiation to Mathematics at the Department of mathematics, Central University Hyderabad held during 5-10 July, 2010
2. Advanced Training Camp in Mathematics at S. S. N. College of Engineering Chennai, held during 17-31 December, 2010.
3. Workshop on Initiation into Mathematics for Gujarat region Undergraduate students, Department of Mathematics, M. S. University Baroda, Vadodara held during 4-10, December, 2010.
4. Mini MTTS Programme at Banasthali University, Rajasthan held during 18-24 December, 2010.
5. Mathematics Teachers Training Programme, Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai held during 3-8, January 2011.
6. Mini-MTTS for Mumbai Region, Ruia College, Mumbai held during 2-7, April 2011.
