Pedagogical Training for Mathematics Teachers (PTMT) - 2012

• Aims and Objectives
The Mathematics Training and Talenet Search Programme (MTTS) has turned out to be very successful over last two decades and has motivated a large number of students to pursue a carrier in mathematics. We believe that a large number of students would be benefited if we acquaint mathematics teachers with the methodology adopted in MTTS Programme. The present programme (PTMT) attepts to familiarize mathematics teachers, teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels with the methods followed in MTTS Programme. Faculty well-versed with MTTS programme will share the pedagogy of teaching mathematics with participants.
• Venues & Duration
The PTMT Programme will be held at Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana, Pune. The duration of the programme is April 5–10, 2012.
• Who can apply?
Any mathematics teacher, teaching in the undergraduate/postgraduate departments. Preferences will be given to young teachers.

A sample of application form given in the poster can also use used. The hard copy of the completed application form should reach the Programme Coordinator latest by February 11, 2012.
• Selection
Only selected candidates will be informed of their selection by the last week of February 2012. Candidates selected for the programme will be paid 3 tire A/C return train fare by the shortest route and will be provided free board and lodging for the duration of the course.
